Live Event Painter
Frequently Asked Questions
What size canvas do you use?
I offer 4 sizes : 18x24"| 24x30" | 24x36" | 30x40"
I use archival-quality, 100% cotton canvases, gesso primed, and gallery wrapped around a professionally constructed wooden frame.
How much do you charge?
Prices begin at $2300 and vary based on canvas size, package deal, or any additional add-on services chosen.
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I am located in Madisonville, La and will travel up to 3 hours (round trip) free of charge. Any location farther an additional travel fee will be applied dependent on the distance to be traveled.
What are your package deals?
I offer 4 packages: Silver, Rose Gold, Gold, and Platinum. Each offers the addition of prints and still-life paintings to capture the smaller details of your event. You can find out more by clicking here.
I didn't think to book a live painter, would you paint a picture from the event?
If you didn't book an event painter and have regrets, no worries! I will paint the exact moment you wish to capture from a photo provided.
Do you take commissions?
What artist doesn't? While I love creating original pieces, I also love working with a client to create something personally suited to their specific vision.
How do I reserve my date?
Dates book up FAST, so it's best not to wait. Reservations are based on first come, first serve. If you want to reserve your date, I require a 50% deposit along with a completed and signed contract. Unfortunately, I do not hold dates for anyone without this.
Do you offer payment plans?
To ensure this is a stress free service, after the initial deposit, I work with clients to create a payment plan best suited to their budget.
When do you arrive at the venue?
I will arrive up to 2 hours before the event begins, allowing time to speak to the coordinator, find the location with the best vantage point, and paint the background.
What is the Wedding Gallery Set?
The Wedding Gallery Set is a set of still-life paintings,
1- 5x7" | 1- 8x10" | 1- 9x12"|
To capture from the smallest to biggest details of your magical night.
Popular subject matter choices include, but are not limited to: bouquets, cakes, centerpieces, clothing, jewelry, and wedding arches. These are comparable to the detail shots taken by wedding photographers.
You can find out more by clicking here.
*This does not include portraits
When and how do I get my painting?
After your event I take your painting to my studio to add finishing touches. My normal turn around time is 2-6 weeks, all of which is dependent on any additional add on services (i.e. wedding gallery sets, still life paintings of detail shots, etc.), during which I am in constant contact with you, ensuring every detail is tailored to your specifications. If local, I will hand deliver your painting at a meeting place of your choice. For farther distances, we can discuss if shipping or delivery with a travel fee would be most cost efficient for you.
